St. Louis Architectural Photography

Images of buildings and interiors for architects, designers, developers, and project teams across the St. Louis metro.

I'm a St. Louis-based architectural photographer making images of buildings and interiors for the firms that design and develop them. While I also work on projects across the country, St. Louis is home. My images are used to carry a portfolio, fill out an RFP or qualifications package, run in a publication, and bolster awards submissions. I work throughout the region, in the city and across St. Louis County, on a variety of project types, including new construction, renovations and expansions, and adaptive reuse. I'm also writing an architectural guide to greater St. Louis. My article 35 Landmarks of St. Louis Architecture in 35 Years: 1990-2025 is a preview of that work.

My clients are mostly architects, landscape architects, interior designers, developers, and the consultants and project teams that form around a building project. The work covers sectors like commercial, civic, cultural, institutional, and higher education, multi-unit residential and mixed-use, workplace and office interiors, and the landscape and grounds that surround them. Some shoots are as small as a single room or lobby; others are as large as a multi-phase project or a full campus. Most include interior and exterior coverage, and many include aerial views made with a drone. I am a Part 107 certified remote pilot. Back on the ground, I shoot primarily on medium format.

Most of the reasons to hire an architectural photographer in St. Louis rather than fly one in are practical. It's easier to scout the site before a shoot, make return trips on phased projects, and schedule around bad weather, all without extra travel fees. If you're an architect, designer, or developer with a project in St. Louis, I'd be glad to hear from you.
