One Hundred Above the Park is a luxury residential high-rise in which nearly every unit is a corner unit. The plan was generated by rotating and mirroring a single apartment around a central core, producing a footprint shaped like an oak leaf with a corner window in each living room. West-facing rooms open onto Forest Park, while east-facing units look toward downtown and the Gateway Arch beyond. The floorplate stacks into four and five-story tiers that splay outward at oblique angles, so each tier's roof is a private terrace for the floor above. Meanwhile, the slant shades interiors from summer sun and admits lower winter light. Reinforced concrete carries the complex geometry, clad in clear glazing and corrugated aluminum panels that respond to changing light. The same geometry that gives every apartment its corner turns environmental performance into structural expression.
