Neuhoff District
The Neuhoff District is a 1905 Nashville meatpacking plant converted into offices, apartments and public space. Two structures were demolished, leaving an amphitheater and a courtyard where the original concrete columns still stand. Crumbling stairs and catwalks were kept as ornament.
Beloit College Powerhouse
Beloit College Powerhouse is a reused coal plant on the Rock River, now a recreation and wellness center. The brick walls, smokestack, and salvaged turbine machinery remain, with a competition pool, cafe, and suspended running track threaded through into a new translucent field house.
